Aviator
One of the most popular knives in the one piece range, the Aviator
offers strength and fine edge retention with a sawing facility.
The teeth are designed to offer versatility rather than excellence in any
one task - they can be used to saw most material, although none perfectly.
This 4'' bladed knife is well suited for rescue or para-medical kits and pilots
of light aircraft or helicopters.

Kathathu
Pronounced Ka-ta-tu, meaning three times in Zulu. In 1995, Scott
Cook made a magnificent double-edged art knife that featured a triple ground
blade. It won the award for Best Fixed Blade on Show at the 1995 California
Custom Knife Show and drew many admiring comments from knife makers and collectors
alike. The concept of a triple grind is one not often seen. Sometimes swords
will feature a groove down the center of the blade but evenly spaced "columns"
are not common.
In 2000, Scott ground a fixed blade for Chris Reeve Knives that combines the
tried and tested one-piece concept and a triple-grind blade. This knife, the
Kathathu, with the hollow grind repeated evenly three
times, was a limited edition and only 50 were made. In 2001, a 5 1/2
inch triple-grind blade is added to the collection, and there will be a limited
number of 66 5 1/2'' Kathathus made.

Sable IV
Perhaps the most overlooked knife in the range and maybe it is
the least spectacular looking blade shape but the Sable is, in fact, one of
the most practical and versatile of all blade shapes. The full thickness of
material on the back edge makes it a strong knife and the high grind and sweep
of the blade offer a perfect utility knife which can double for most skinning
tasks.
